The Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) provides graduates with the initial qualification required for teaching in Australian early childhood settings. This course provides students with well-developed professional skills to become an early childhood teacher for children from birth to five years. This course is designed for students, with a Bachelor degree in any discipline, a Graduate Diploma in early childhood teaching or an Australian or ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with three years professional experience, who are seeking to become registered early childhood teachers. Students will study a range of core subjects in early childhood contexts including child development, behaviour, diversity and leadership. They will also complete 60 days of practical experience working with children aged birth to 5 years in early childhood settings.
