The emphasis is on communication. Students will have the opportunity to practise what is taught through the use of task-based learning activities. The focus for course content is provided by weekly themes and topics. These provide a framework around which coursework – particularly vocabulary building and the development of the macroskills of speaking, listening, reading and writing – is structured.
Intermediate - This course is for students who are already competent users of English who wish to develop their command of English in a more academic context and develop skills needed for undertaking an IELTS exam at the Intermediate or equivalent 5.0 IELTS level of English.
Upper-Intermediate - This course is for students who are already competent users of English who wish to develop their command of English in a more academic context and develop skills needed for undertaking an IELTS exam at the UpperIntermediate or equivalent 5.5 IELTS level of English.
Advanced - This course is for students who are already competent users of English who wish to develop their command of English in a more academic context and develop skills needed for undertaking an IELTS exam at the Advanced or equivalent 6.0 - 7.0 IELTS level of English.
