Completing the general induction training program specified by the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work is mandatory before engaging in construction work. The accomplishment of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry will meet the requirement. This qualification will be delivered over 92 weeks, including 75 weeks of training and assessment and 17 weeks of holidays. This course is conducted with a blended learning model that includes face-to-face learning in classrooms and in simulated workshops. Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practical based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
