Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. They may have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers or other educators. To be issued the qualification CHC50121 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care you must be assessed as competent in all 15 units of competency which includes 12 core units and 3 elective units. In order to provide you with a truly engaging learning experience, we offer training with a combination of face-to-face and supervised study sessions. During class time, our highly experienced and knowledgeable trainers will train you on the theoretical aspects of your future occupation as well as assist you in the development of the essential practical skills you would require to work in an early childhood education and care facility. This course also includes 320 hours of mandatory work placement in a registered childcare facility.
