Diploma of Hospitality Management

This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions. The skills in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice. ISTA’s offers the diploma of hospitality management for both the Back of House (Cookery) and Front of House (Food and Beverage) pathways. ISTA students are encouraged to gain part time work within the hospitality industry. You are required to complete 28 units of competency for this course. 11 core units and 17 elective units.
