Course overview
Medical Bioscience involves the study of a range of biological science subjects that can be combined to develop a multidisciplinary approach to understanding human health and combatting a variety of diseases. The MSc Medical Bioscience programme at the University of Bradford provides a platform for the study of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills associated with key subject areas, such as physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and bioinformatics, alongside advanced training in key experimental methods required in future research aimed at improving human health. A key feature of the programme is the opportunity to study a variety of specialist subjects in a combination that allows students to develop their own particular interests in a varied and selective way to develop an advanced level of knowledge and skills required in a broad range of employment organisations involved in research, education, regulatory approval, diagnostic services as well as the commercialisation of biomedical information.
