This course aims to enable an in-depth knowledge and understanding of leadership practice in Health and Social Care, informed by current scholarly research and including a critical awareness of current issues and developments at the forefront of this field. The MA Health and Social Care Leadership course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of leadership practices in the field of Health and Social Care. It is based on current scholarly research and aims to cultivate a critical awareness of the latest issues and advancements in this area. Students will be guided to enhance their critical self-reflection and self-management skills, as well as to develop the ability to learn from their experiences and practices. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to conduct a research project relevant to their professional practice. This Master's course targets advanced practitioners, supervisors, and managers with extensive experience in Health and Social Care. Their current roles involve leading, supporting, and challenging individuals within the field. Throughout the program, students will be encouraged to explore various perspectives and increase their self-awareness to develop their own approaches to addressing challenges in practice. The course is designed to enhance their capabilities in effectively implementing practices and achieving positive outcomes. Participants will also be prompted to deepen their understanding of themselves and the theoretical aspects of leadership, thereby improving their ability to manage complex issues in their future endeavors.
