Course overview

This route of entry is designed for those who already hold an undergraduate degree. For the MSc version of this course, students will complete a dissertation on a topic of their choosing. University of Dundee's aim is to help students develop into a compassionate and knowledgeable registered adult nurse, ready to take on the exciting challenge of working in any modern healthcare environment.

Nurses work as part of a team alongside doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and healthcare assistants. Students will work with patients and their families supporting them through challenging situations. They will spend 50% of their time learning on campus and the other 50% on placements in hospitals and community settings. The placements help them develop the hands-on skills needed to work in healthcare.
