Course overview

The LLM prepares students for effective roles in the international law and business arenas either as practitioners or as academics, undertaking further research in this dynamic field. The course aims to develop students' knowledge of core concepts and theories in international law and business as well as problem-solving skills, academic and practice-based writing so they are equipped with skills for either a life in academia or practice in the international law and business field. The LLM introduces students to the alternatives to the judicial process, such as mediation and arbitration, upon which key actors in this field increasingly rely. It allows students to develop the theoretical knowledge of these processes as well as knowledge of the procedural application of these processes in the field of international business and law.
