Within Cardiff School of Art and Design students will be encouraged to explore imaginative fusions between materials and technology to develop their individual creative identity. Throughout this process, students will be embedding their designs within a conceptual framework that embraces social, cultural and ethical perspectives.
Creative collaborations with postgraduate students from a range of disciplines within CSAD are nurtured, developing design skills incorporating garment and accessories, brand styling, promotion, and curatorial practices.
The emphasis will be on an evolving research trajectory in the preparation of a professional portfolio that can attract careers with international brands, generate successful design labels and also prepare for further postgraduate research.
