Skills in electrical and electronic engineering are essential in a world that seeks net zero, medical breakthroughs and many of the devices and systems we use every day. The IEA’s World Energy Outlook (2021) claimed that 13.3 million new global jobs would be created by the low carbon agenda by 2030 and most of these jobs would require electrical and electronic engineering skills. Students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Aberystwyth University will develop these essential skills, from analogue and digital electronics to real-life applications like communications and renewables.
