The MBA Professional Masters in Project Management at Aberystwyth Business School focuses on managing and leading projects and developing and applying the tools and techniques of project management including leading teams, project management techniques and systems, financial analysis and project monitoring and control. Candidates will complete a substantial project management report at the end of their studies that is focused on providing value added improvements within their companies. The Professional MBA programmes focus on developing and enhancing students' current academic and managerial skills. An important objective is to provide leading-edge analytical training in the latest strategic managerial and organisational developments in both the public and private sectors. Students will collect and analyse relevant information across a range of areas pertaining to given scenarios and situations, synthesise the information into a form appropriate for the evaluation of alternative solutions and subsequent decision-making, and engage with people from different cultural backgrounds in order to raise the level of organisational awareness and thinking.
