A Bachelor of Science in Biology program provides a broad foundation in the study of living organisms. The curriculum typically includes a combination of foundational courses in various biological disciplines, laboratory work to develop practical skills, and opportunities for specialization through elective courses. The Department comprises a diverse and highly interactive group of faculty, staff, postdocs, and undergraduate and graduate students. We thrive to provide an environment that encourages research and learning across the biological sciences, ranging from molecules to ecosystems. We are particularly focused on experiential learning and offer many opportunities for students to engage with faculty in both the classroom and research laboratories.
