Many businesses rely on enterprise and innovation to manage uncertainty and ensure sustained growth. This course teaches students to become an effective entrepreneur and an innovative leader – with the insight to identify opportunities, implement new processes, harness new technology and transform global businesses into market leaders. Students will discover how to identify and develop a potential market opportunity, and drive sustained business growth – undertaking market research, making strategic decisions, managing uncertainty, exploring new technology, generating ideas and overcoming challenges. Working with classmates, students will construct a business plan for a new profitable offering and work together to refine it – for instance, analysing the cost implications of adding or subtracting certain features. By doing this, students will gain a solid grounding in business principles and a deep understanding of how enterprises thrive: learning core competencies like finance, law, regulations, operations and organisational behaviour, while developing specialist skills, creative thinking, strategic decision-making and ability to innovate, globally. From global organisations to new start-ups, studying in London offers opportunities to engage with all aspects of the business arena – gaining valuable work experience and meeting influential industry contacts. Students will join bootcamps, simulations and creative labs to learn to think like a leader and an entrepreneur, and work on live briefs commissioned by industry experts that will expose them to real-world business issues and give them the strategic skills to combat them. Students will graduate with a practical, future-facing business education that's entrepreneurial, network-driven and tech engaged.
