Course overview

This degree aims to prepare students for a professional and creative career as an interior designer.   Regent's University London's holistic approach to interior design will enable students to develop their own design philosophy. Students will be introduced to a broad range of design methods and principles, including digital technologies and professional standards. Approaching a range of public and private spaces, students will consider design ideas from a variety of perspectives including history, architecture, social and environment impact as well as purpose.   Model-making is a core element of this degree. Students create models of design ideas using specialist facilities and document the end product in our photography studio.   Professional practice modules will give opportunities to work on live projects with real clients. Students will be expected to consider all aspects of the design process from creative development to commercial and financial factors.    Upon graduation, students will have a diverse portfolio of work that can be showcased to potential clients and employers.    This bespoke training will prepare students for a creative career across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, exhibition and installation and places of leisure and culture.
