UTSA’s Mechanical Engineering degree is ABET accredited. In this program, you’ll gain exposure to the areas of design and manufacturing, mechanics and materials, and thermal and fluid systems. You’ll learn how to apply these subjects toward many industries including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, energy (wind/solar/petrochemical), heating and cooling systems, machinery, materials, microelectronics, robotics, structures and more. Who knows, maybe you’ll work on designing the next Honda engine or discover a new way to capture sustainable energy.
