Southern Academy of Higher Education (SAHE)
The aim of the SAHE Bachelor of Business program is to provide students with the broad and coherent knowledge and competencies necessary to develop critical, analytical and evaluative skills essential for a fulfilling an effective career in business. The Bachelor of Business (Project Management Major) equips students with essential business knowledge and practical project management skills that are highly valued in today’s dynamic global business landscape. This program covers the core principles of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects, and is supported by foundational study in related disciplines such as law, economics, finance, and statistics. Graduates will develop strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, alongside proficiency in risk assessment, resource allocation, and stakeholder management. Students will learn to apply professional judgment and analytical techniques to manage projects effectively in various industries, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Business (Project Management Major), graduates may be eligible for entry into postgraduate programs at higher education institutions in Australia that require a Bachelor of Business as an entry prerequisite. As part of their specialisation, SAHE graduates of the Bachelor of Business (Project Management Major) will meet foundational academic requirements that support eligibility for membership or certification with relevant professional bodies in the field of project management, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) or Project Management Institute (PMI), subject to additional professional requirements.
