Based at the Streatham Campus in Exeter, the programme emphasises a human‑geography focus while offering flexibility to engage with physical geography and interdisciplinary options. You will study core themes such as globalisation, sustainability, identity, place, culture and climate change, and develop research and data‑analysis skills through lectures, seminars, workshops and fieldwork modules.Optional modules allow you to specialise in areas that interest you—such as digital geographies, geopolitical cultures, climate adaptation and energy transitions—and your final year includes an independent dissertation on a topic you choose. The programme also boasts a strong student community and active field components, giving you opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in real‑world settings and build transferable skills suitable for careers in research, policy, planning, environment, business or further study.
