This three‑year undergraduate degree (offered at the Penryn Campus in Cornwall) is designed to give students a global perspective on contemporary political challenges. From day one you engage with foundational political theory and international issues, exploring themes such as power, inequality, justice, environmental politics and communication.As you progress, teaching emphasises small‑group discussions, seminar work and applied research skills, and culminates in a year‑three dissertation on a topic of your choice.The programme also offers optional four‑year variants with a year abroad or a year in employment experience, enabling you to broaden your perspective and develop employability.Overall, the degree equips you with analytical, research and communication skills relevant for careers in policy, media, NGOs, government or further study, while being taught in a friendly, community‑focused campus environment in Cornwall.
