Bachelor of Science - Health Sciences - Pre-Physical and Occupational Therapy

The Pre-Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Option to the Health Sciences degree is tailored to those students planning on applying to graduate program in one of these disciplines. While students graduating with this degree are not limited to this one option, the focus of the program is to satisfy the common prerequisites for physical therapy and occupational graduate programs. In addition to meeting pre-requisites and providing a scientific background for a graduate program, the students are introduced to assessment techniques and therapeutic techniques which will be a part of their professional education. Some programs will have unique pre-requisites, therefore students are encouraged to visit the websites of the American Physical Therapy Association (apta.org) or the American Occupation Therapy Association (aota.org) to identify pre-requisites for a school they may wish to attend.
