It provides a comprehensive curriculum that spans lower and upper-level courses, equipping students for diverse career paths in professional, educational, and community theatre programs, as well as advanced studies in graduate theatre programs. Our approach places a strong emphasis on personalized instruction, which is particularly evident in upper-level theatre courses where internship opportunities and performance responsibilities are integrated. This program is designed to establish a solid foundation in theatre fundamentals, allowing majors to specialize in either technical or performance theatre. This curriculum is tailored to nurture a well-rounded and adaptable understanding of theatre, preparing students for a dynamic range of opportunities in the field.
