The Austin College Accounting program offers students a strong business-foundation in the “language of business” — accounting — enabling them to create, interpret and evaluate financial information in a variety of organisational settings. The curriculum emphasises developing key skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and quantitative analysis. Through courses like Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Tax Accounting, Non-Profit Accounting and Managerial Accounting, students learn how to prepare financial statements, apply reporting standards and use those insights to support strategic decisions.
