The Diploma in Carpentry and Renovation Technician program provides students with the practical skills and technical knowledge needed for a successful career in the residential and commercial construction and renovation industry. The curriculum covers blueprint reading, building codes, framing, finishing, roofing, flooring, and the safe use of hand and power tools. Students also learn about sustainable building practices and project planning. Through hands-on workshops and real-world projects, graduates are prepared to work on-site in a variety of carpentry and renovation roles or pursue an apprenticeship toward becoming a licensed carpenter.
