Information Systems (IS) is the field that connects business and technology. A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Information Systems (BSBA IS) prepares students for a career in information systems by focusing on the use of current information technology to support the needs of an organization and its customers. In Information Systems- Applications students will learn to analyze, design, develop, and maintain information systems to support business activities and day-to-day operations across the organization so that the business can achieve a competitive advantage in the market. The program will give students the skills they need to perform the functions of business information processing and management so that students will be able to assume responsibilities in an information systems environment.
