College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CS&AI) of Wenzhou University was founded in 1998 to keep abreast of the national scientific development and for the regional economy development. Now it has four departments: Computer Science and Technology, Network Engineering, Data Science and Big Data Technology and Artificial Intelligence. We have a highly competitive faculty. At present it has 86 full-time faculty, among them, 12 are professors, and 26 Associate professors. 50% of them are with Ph. Degree. Many teachers have oversea education background and can lecture in both Chinese and English. Many of the faculty is Millions of Talent Projects National candidates, National Excellent Youth, Leading Talents of Zhejiang Province, National Youth Top-notch Talent. Our faculty takes part in or presides over several National Key Research and Development Programs, and granted several funds from National Natural Science Foundations of China. Now it has about 946 Chinese and 56 foreign students are studying for bachelor and 95 graduates for master degree. Affiliated to the College, are several institutes and Centers: Network Engineering National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, Intelligent Computing Center of Visual Big Data, Big Data and AI research Institutes, etc. The mission of the undergraduate program in Computer Science is to learn systematically the basic theory, basic knowledge, basic skills and methods in computer theory, computer programming and software designing, including developing students' ability to apply the defining processes of computer science theory, abstraction, design, and implementation to solve problems in the discipline.
