The Certificate in Auto Body and Collision Technician program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to repair and restore vehicles damaged in collisions. Throughout the program, students learn how to assess structural damage, perform frame straightening and alignment, repair or replace damaged panels, and apply paint finishes to return vehicles to their original condition. The curriculum covers key areas such as sheet metal repair, welding, metal fabrication, painting techniques, and the use of specialized tools and equipment, all while emphasizing safety and environmental regulations. With a strong focus on hands-on training in fully equipped workshops, students gain practical experience alongside theoretical learning. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in auto body shops, collision repair centers, dealerships, and other related automotive service industries.
