The Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Acting for Camera Program is specifically designed for performers interested in careers in acting for film, television and new media. Students also develop skills for creating original content for current and emerging platforms. A broad range of historical contexts are studied to enhance students’ understanding of contemporary film and new media industries. Training leads to the practical application of acquired skills through a variety of performance opportunities, including the creation of a sample performance reel, mock auditions, a short film project and a final production that blends live stage and filmed performances.
