Master of Science in Chemistry

The Master of Science in Chemistry program at Central Michigan University provides students an opportunity to obtain advanced knowledge and skills in all areas of chemistry. Specializations are possible in biochemistry and analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, polymer and materials chemistry. Students will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills to meaningful research projects, work in world-class facilities, and closely interact with distinguished professors. Chemistry faculty members conduct state-of-the-art research that is actively supported by federal funding agencies. Graduates can be employed in chemical industry or continue their education in doctoral and medical programs.
