Agriculture is one of the most important areas students could choose because it addresses a basic human need—food and other natural resources. Because sustainable development encompasses so many aspects of the world, including the study of animal, plant, and environmental systems and natural resource management, the students can enter a variety of careers in business, government, and the nonprofit sectors, or go on to graduate schools or work for themselves.
