The University of Buckingham’s Bachelor of Science in Psychology is designed to give students a head start in their career as a psychologist or in people-centered employment; covering all the core content they would expect from a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree, in addition to exciting optional modules in the second year. By choosing to study this course at the University of Buckingham, students will benefit from a committed team of lecturers who genuinely care about the people they teach. They will learn through unique tutorials, which are in addition to lectures and seminars. These sessions ensure that they are not just a face in the crowd, their tutors will get to know who they are and encourage them to engage in debates and discussions. During tutorials they will develop their knowledge about psychology and regularly practice skills that are important for employability. Student will learn core theory and have the opportunity to study the eight areas of practitioner psychology, enabling them to make an informed choice on their future career as a psychologist. In addition, this program have modules in distinct areas of study such as creativity and cyberpsychology. As one of the only two-year BPS accredited Bachelor of Science Psychology degrees in the UK, they will be able to fast track their career within this popular field, or opt to consolidate their learning through postgraduate study once they have graduated.
