The Pre-Veterinary Medicine Program at Murray State University has the ability to fulfill the prerequisite requirements for all thirty-two veterinary schools across the nation. Kentucky has established agreements with Auburn University for thirty-eight students and Tuskegee University for four students. These spots are reserved for legal Kentucky residents based on a competitive selection process. Murray State University’s Pre-Veterinary Medicine program is a four-year undergraduate program that focuses on educating students in the care of various animals including dogs, cats, laboratory animals, horses, beef, sheep, swine, and exotics. The curriculum is specifically designed for students who are aiming to gain acceptance into a veterinary school.
