As an interaction design major at Cornish, you’ll prepare for an in-demand career in user experience (UX). UX designers help institutions engage with their audiences in ways that break through the noise of our everyday lives. These designers create multi-layered encounters with screens, systems, environments, and objects. You’ll study interaction design, user experience, user research, app development, and user interfaces for screens. You’ll learn the fundamentals of virtual reality and augmented reality. If you’d like to add UX skills to another major in our department, we also offer a related minor in experience design.
