The purpose of this interdisciplinary program is to enable and empower a new generation of leader practitioners focused on Disaster/Emergency Management and National Security. This graduate program trains students to respond effectively to urgent societal problems, ranging from weather-related emergencies to attacks on critical infrastructure. Graduates of this program will be equipped with cutting edge theoretical tools necessary to analyze the broad spectrum of threats that societies face in the 21st century, as well as the practical skills necessary to implement and lead an emergency response process.This program is ideal for individuals looking to break into the field of Disaster/Emergency Management and National Security, as well as individuals seeking career advancement within these fields.
