Master of Professional Accounting

The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is designed to equip graduates holding a recognised bachelor’s qualification, graduate certificate or graduate diploma in any field, and at a standard acceptable to IMC standards, with the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in professional accounting. The course satisfies the academic requirements for entry to the Australian professional accountancy bodies and an opportunity for a national or international career in accounting. The course aims to provide students with the required foundations in accounting and related areas, as well as an understanding of the way in which accounting supports business activities. The program is taught by academic staff active in research, and students are exposed to professional and scholarly developments that have been achieved through research activity.
