Stetson University’s Economics program provides a thorough understanding of economics and business behavior. It prepares students for careers in business and government, and it sets a foundation for graduate and professional studies. This curriculum will allow them to describe and identify fundamental economic concepts and the primary microeconomic and macroeconomic theories, and describe the financial system, institutions, markets, securities, global financial issues and strategies. The economics major within the School of Business Administration provides the graduates with a thorough understanding of economics and business behavior. The courses are designed to train them in analyzing problems. This major offers preparation for careers in business and government and provides an excellent foundation for graduate and professional study.
