The Environmental Geography course offers a comprehensive study of the Earth's functioning and the scientific aspects of human impact on the planet throughout history. This course delves into various environments worldwide, ranging from the extreme poles to tropical coral reefs, examining the current and future challenges they face. Students will be equipped with the latest technologies and will develop essential skills in geographical mapping, research, analysis, and problem-solving. The program takes full advantage of its location, organizing regular day trips to Gower, the Glam organ Heritage Coast, and the Breckon Beacons in South Wales. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to participate in overseas trips, with previous destinations including the Netherlands and Switzerland. Those enrolled in this course typically possess a deep concern for the planet's health and aspire to make a positive impact. Upon graduation, students will possess the necessary skills to tackle complex environmental issues and will have gained valuable experience in hands-on fieldwork and cutting-edge research.
