UCL’s Communications BA will prepare you to promote effective communication in societies, organisations, and communities. You will develop the theoretical, research, and design skills needed to optimize communication processes in a range of professional fields. As London’s global university, our students will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with world leading experts and scholars through a work placement and research project in a topic of their choice. The Communications BA seeks to address the growing demand for expertise in effective, inclusive communication with a socially, culturally, and linguistically diverse population. To meet their social responsibilities governments, charities, public services, and other organisations need to connect with, understand, listen to, inform, mobilise, and persuade people. This requires critical understanding of, and practical skills in, the use of contemporary means of communication.
