By pursuing a major in nursing at the University of Central Missouri, students will be prepared to care for diverse individuals, families, populations, and communities across the lifespan in health and illness. Unique to UCM, students will have opportunities to experience both rural and urban nursing practice during their educational experience. This diversity of experiences, plus quality instruction, will allow them flexibility in choosing their desired area of practice.
