Architectural engineers design systems that complete the built environment. They ensure the structural integrity and resilience of buildings and the comfort and health of those who occupy them. Students in the Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering program develop a solid foundation in areas such as structural health monitoring and analysis, materials processing, and water and energy efficiency. Undergraduates gain real-world experience through specialized projects, architectural studio courses and paid internships. Students are prepared to work at engineering, architecture and construction firms or to pursue advanced degrees.
