Bachelor of Business Administration - Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence major is a new program offered by Coggin College of Business. It was developed in 2021 to meet the growing demand for graduates who understand data plays a role in management decisions.  
 
No computer programming is required in this major. Rather, students will develop skills enabling them to manage and interpret large amounts of data and, most importantly, how to make management decisions using data. These skills include: 
 

- -Data collection, integration, analysis, and presentation  

- -Technical skills 

- -Critical thinking 

- -Problem solving 

- -Information technology administration 

 
It’s an ideal area of study for technically-driven students entering the business field. The Business Intelligence Major blends technology with issues facing business for a highly employable field. There is an increasing demand from employers seeking business and systems analysts.
