Sudents go beyond the classroom with Lakeland College's new post-bachelor commercial agriculture production certificate. This certificate is designed for agriculture degree holders who want to build their practical skills. There’s no substitute for putting one's knowledge into action. Students will do that through hands-on learning with:
- Crops
- Livestock
- Equipment
- Technology
Students will boost both their real-world and critical-thinking skills by working and learning on the College's Student-Managed Farm - powered by New Holland. It's Canada's only student-managed farm. Student can choose the crops or livestock stream. No matter their choice, they will gain insight and experience about typical agricultural production in Western Canada. And, ultimately be better prepared for their career.
