In undergraduate chemical engineering, you'll apply the principles of physical sciences, economics and human relations to research, design, build and manage projects in the Marianist tradition. Our curriculum is basic training for positions in diverse areas of manufacturing and for future graduate studies that could lead to an advanced degree. The first part of our curriculum provides your mathematics, physics and chemistry base. The second part offers you a balance between classroom and laboratory experiences and covers topics such as transport phenomena, thermodynamics, kinetics and reactor design, separation processes, fluid flow and heat transfer operations and process control and design. The concentration in energy systems - chemical, is a rapidly growing concentration open to all engineering students to discuss energy systems and its social consequences.
