The Baccalaureate Degree Program-College for Women (BDP-CFW) program of study in the School of Nursing at St. Catherine University prepares students to be safe, effective, professional general practitioners, function as responsible members of the nursing profession, and continue formal education through advanced study. Upon graduation, students are awarded the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (B.S.N.). Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) to become a registered nurse and apply for public health certification and graduate programs in nursing. After passing NCLEX and obtaining RN licensure, graduates are also eligible for certification in holistic nursing by the American Holistic Nurses Certification Corporation (AHNCC).
